Despite its simpler interface, you can still do everything you can do in Photoshop. It has image editing tools, and with a little patience, you can learn how to use the tools and edit your images.
The interface will be a little less user-friendly to you, however, and it’s a different experience, in a good way.
But if you already use Photoshop and are looking for a free, simple and easy-to-use alternative to get creative with images, then Photoshop Elements might be what you need.
Here’s some great reasons to try Photoshop Elements instead of paying for Photoshop…
1. It’s a great way to start learning how to edit images
Photoshop has lots of features and a complicated interface.
You get to learn how it works first-hand when you edit images, which is great when you start but make it harder as your work becomes more complex.
Plus, when you get frustrated at the interface or the complexity of the tools, you can always head back to your early days and get creative again!
With Photoshop Elements, however, you can start using the app today and learn how to use the very simplest and most basic tools and you can do more than just editing.
If you’re not sure which program is right for you, Photoshop Elements might be the best introduction to the world of Photoshop.
2. It contains most of the features in Photoshop
If you know how to use Photoshop, you can use Photoshop Elements.
And contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to learn all of Photoshop to be able to edit images. You can use Photoshop Elements and still edit images.
Why? Because it contains most of the features of the professional version of Photoshop.
If you’re a beginner, you won’t feel like you’re missing out on anything when you use Photoshop Elements as you get to practice all of the basics you need to use this software for all of your future projects.
3. It’s a free, powerful alternative to Adobe Photoshop
You can use Photoshop Elements without paying for anything.
This means you won’t have to pay for any software updates, subscriptions or paid products. And you won’t have to worry about finding a friend to take out a subscription for you.
Plus, it’s a great way to try out Photoshop Elements
The present invention relates to a vehicle drive-by-wire system for use in an electrically powered vehicle which has a power source coupled to the wheels and a pair of separate power sources, each driving one wheel.
Various drive-by-wire systems for electrically powered vehicles are known. For example, U.S. Pat. Nos. 4,715,757 and 4,917,368 each disclose a drive-by-wire system for an electrically powered vehicle. In those systems, the power source is coupled to the wheels and a control system is coupled to the power source. The control system includes a power distribution circuit which receives power from the power source and distributes power to the control and motor elements. The power distribution circuit includes at least one relay which selectively connects the power source to the power distribution circuit.
The power distribution circuit includes several switches such as, for example, a switch which enables the vehicle’s battery to charge the vehicle’s electrical systems and a switch which selectively couples the motor to the power distribution circuit. Because the power distribution circuit includes numerous switches, it can be difficult to locate the switches. To this end, each power source, the power distribution circuit and the power control system have been located on separate mechanical structures. Further, the use of a large number of switches increases the size of the power distribution circuit and correspondingly increases the cost of the power distribution circuit.
A known power distribution system which increases the ease of locating the switches includes a printed circuit board having an array of single pole double throw switches. The single pole double throw switches are arranged in two rows of switches. The switches are electrically connected to power sources and to control and motor elements. Thus, when the power distribution circuit is located on the printed circuit board, the power control system and the power sources may be located on separate structures.
However, when the printed circuit board is located adjacent the power sources or the power distribution circuit, the power sources or the power distribution circuit may have additional circuitry attached thereto which interferes with the actuation of the single pole double throw switches. For example, with reference to the power distribution circuit, additional circuitry, such as control circuits, may be located adjacent the single pole double throw switches. The control circuits are often referred to as safety relays which may employ electromagnetically operated or solenoid operated switches. The interference is believed to occur because of the attenuation of the switch actuating signals which is caused by the additional circuitry. The attenuation of the switch
WASHINGTON — The latest U.S. assessment of the impact of Pyongyang’s three nuclear tests last year suggests North Korea could have a harder time building a nuclear bomb than previously thought, but there are limits to the new information.
Pyongyang announced in September that it had miniaturized a nuclear warhead that fits inside its missiles. If true, it would make it easier for North Korea to launch a miniaturized nuclear warhead.
Experts say, however, that despite the miniaturization, the U.S. assessment suggests Pyongyang is more than a year away from perfecting this feat.
The Pentagon has no plans to invade North Korea. If it did, the U.S. doesn’t have any nuclear weapons it could drop on the country.
So, military options are somewhat limited to a scenario in which U.S. forces are sent to protect South Korean assets and forces from the North. In that case, the U.S. could destroy regime artillery using air power and possibly even send in Marines.
The miniaturization of the bomb would give the North some added advantages in the short-term by giving it more precision.
North Korea uses missiles with large payloads that can be hundreds of kilometers long. These are used as a first-strike device, with Pyongyang saying it would use the long-range, multiple-missile capability to hit targets on U.S. military bases in Japan or South Korea with warheads that could hit U.S. allies.
Nuclear warheads are much smaller than missiles, so a Pyongyang miniaturization of its nuclear arsenal would be a significant step up in power and precision.
“It seems a pretty important development,” said Markus Schiller of the German Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, a think tank that studies nuclear issues. “For the first time you have a small nuclear warhead that can be delivered by a medium-range ballistic missile.”
Schiller said miniaturization gives a North Korean arsenal more flexibility.
One of the biggest concerns has been that the tiny warhead would be difficult to deliver to targets.
Schiller said he thinks the North Koreans have the know-how to realize the miniaturization, but there are limits to how far Pyongyang can get in this quest.
When Pyongyang revealed the existence of its miniaturized nuclear arsenal, it claimed the warhead was nuclear-tipped,
