Due to the cost and ease of use, AutoCAD was and still is the CAD application of choice for engineers and design professionals of all sizes, including architects, urban planners, and contractors.

To streamline its workflow and expand its scope, AutoCAD now has three applications – AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD LT, and AutoCAD 360.

This article will walk you through the basic steps of using and setting up your first plan drawing with AutoCAD Architectural. It will show you what a plan drawing is and how to use it in your design workflow.

By the way, AutoCAD Architectural is a PC-only application. You cannot use it on a Mac.

What is a plan drawing?

The term “Plan Drawing”, as used in the field of Architecture, can be defined as a blueprint or architectural drawing, specifically one showing a layout or floor plan. These drawings are very specific to architecture and are used by architects and design professionals to generate and present their design solutions.

A plan drawing is a rendering of an architectural design to show a plan or perspective view of the design. To most architects, they are as important as architectural drawings for construction, costing, and budgeting.

A floor plan drawing, as it relates to architecture, contains many essential details about the design of a space. It is usually done in two-dimension (2D) form (two-dimensional drawings), but it can also be done in three-dimension (3D) form (three-dimensional drawings).

The floor plan is usually used to show where the walls, ceilings, and floors of a building are located. The floor plan drawing is also used to show access to the building’s common areas.

Design professionals often use a floor plan drawing when they are deciding on the design for the layout of a building, trying to prove the visual impact of their design ideas, and also showing the design concept to the client.

The drawing is a blueprint of the design. Architectural drawings are specifically used for construction and budgeting purposes

Dynamically adding and removing widgets to gmap

I am trying to add a cluster widget to a gmap widget.
So far i can add a cluster of two, one for each marker.
My problem is that I want to remove a cluster if an item is clicked and add a new one.
If I remove all clusters and try to add them again, the problem is, that my widgets are not removed from the DOM and a new widget is added to the old ones.
I don’t want to lose the data of the items that where added before.
Here is the code:
var myOptions = {
zoom: 8,
center: new google.maps.LatLng(60.353434, 8.906867),
mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP,
mapTypeControl: true,
mapTypeControlOptions: {
style: google.maps.MapTypeControlStyle.DROPDOWN_MENU

What’s New In AutoCAD?

CAD2013-style Layout Changes:

The new Collapse and Expand nodes in the Dimension Style dialog box provide a new simple, easy way to specify a collapsed or expanded view of your components, and combine components into one assembly. This capability is available in the Dimension Style dialog box as well as the Options dialog box.

Two-Way Dynamic Guides:

New Dynamic Guides (PDF support) give you the ability to specify changes in the guide and update the drawing automatically. This capability is available in the Dynamic Guides dialog box as well as the Options dialog box.

Dynamic Views:

New Dynamic Views that let you view two-dimensional drawing elements from a third-dimensional perspective.

More Access to Dxf, DWG, and DGN files:

Insert a dxf or dgn file into a drawing with the ‘Insert Dxf/Dgn’ tool or ‘Insert Dxf/Dgn to Other Drawings’ command. Insert DWG, DWF, or DGN files into a drawing with the ‘Insert DWG/DWF/DGN’ tool or ‘Insert DWG/DWF/DGN to Other Drawings’ command.

Improved Name Matching:

Nodes, commands, and drawing elements are more likely to appear where they should, and they are easier to find. New search filters that include title case and all-caps search your drawings for content.

New Coordinate System Visualizers:

Provide an intuitive, visual means of changing the coordinate system used in a drawing. The Coordinate System Visualizers are available from the Analyze menu, the Visualize menu, and the Visualize drop-down menu in the Properties palette.

Additive, subtractive, and advanced visual effects:

Additive visual effects give you the ability to use one image to create a variety of artistic visual effects. Subtractive visual effects let you reverse an existing image or text layer to create an image from scratch.

Integrated Help:

The AutoCAD help system is improved, and you can get assistance on-screen without having to flip pages in the user’s manual. The Integrated Help dialog box is used to launch a new help system that is specific to the current application and works with the current selection, command, or tool.

Split Region Options:
