DOBT is an Autocad plugin designed to enable you to set the draworder by object type and by layer. The DOBT utility (command) automatically sets draworder of drawing objects according to the predefined order from the DOBT.TAB definition file.
You can set the order by object types (e.g. Texts always above Hatches) or layer names (e.g. Annot* always above Walls*) or by a combination of these (e.g. Hatches in the layers Rent* always above AEC_Walls).

14) It saves all the job sheets containing the recorded layers into one file.
15) It creates a draworder.jpg file that contains the recorded draworder for each object type.
16) It creates a “smooth_and_sharp”.jpg file that contains the recorded draworder for each object type excluding the non-repetitive drawings.
17) It creates an “airforce_and_truck”.jpg file that contains the recorded draworder for each object type except for the non-repetitive drawings.
18) It creates a “text_only”.jpg file that contains the recorded draworder for each object type that includes non-text objects.
19) It creates a DOBT.xls file that contains the recorded layers’ names for each object in the draworder.

What’s New In?
– Allows you to define the logic which objects should be drawn on the screen first and then the others (by using ordered drawing order option in File/Options/Drawing/Object Draw Order);
– Allows you to split your drawing into several layers (by using layer order option in File/Options/Drawing/Layers).
If you want to set your own rules for any of above two options (for example: Always draw all Texts above Hatches; Always draw Hatches above Texts;… ), you can specify it in the.TAB file.

You can use the DOBT means to set the drawing order and/or layer order at any time. Otherwise, for experienced Autocad users, it can be used for batch edit the drawing without performing many undo and redo operations.
1) Download the DOBT.TAB files from the Internet. To download, type any of following URLs in your browser.
Save the.TAB file (use Save As… save as.html,.doc,.pdf,… save as.hdr, save as.dot) on your computer.
