Gunkid is inspired by the challenging gameplay of games like Super Crate Box, the good atmosphere of Worms and the challenge of similar arcade games.
Introducing the unique gameplay of tank jumping and wall-dodging into fast paced action! Push enemies out of your way and destroy them before they can attack you.
This is an action game that must be played with two to four players locally, but you can also play with multiple people over the internet.
There are collectibles like coins, keys and gems in the game. Each of them has a purpose, and provides you with unique abilities like increased damage, stunning enemies and extra health.
How to Play:
Each level has to be completed in one or two runs. You can choose from all unlocked weapons and abilities, and make your own play-style. Aim for the High score and earn as many coins as possible!
Start a game with 2-4 players.
After selecting a stage, push all enemies off the screen, and start a game.
Collect the falling items while avoiding all enemies (gunkid drops).
Locate the pieces that you can teleport to a new position with.
Jump in the direction of the next part of the level, turn around and jump again to continue.
Defeat all enemies on the level.
You can collect coins, and buy abilities.
Complete a level as fast as possible and collect as many coins as possible.
Collect all the collectibles, and the level is complete.
Start a new game in the same level, with the different items, abilities, weapons etc. that you have unlocked.
Use the extra lives that you earned on the previous game.
Each game is counted towards the High score.
If you get in the Top 50 on the global leaderboards, you can unlock a special stage, and the next weapon from the tier below the one you got on the first game.

This game can be on any device that runs SOTN. So in 2012, we recommend iPod Touch/iPhone, iPad and android devices.

What I liked best about the game was :

  • RPG Action and strategy by ability.
  • Well developed skill tree.
  • Create your own path through the levels of game, and get better as game progresses.
  • Puzzle, though we know them, we have rarely seen them in the games.

What I did not like so much is :

  • The game is pretty repetitive. And there is a reason for this.
  • The AI is not so great. Dont blame game, the developers have put a lot of time & effort to it.
  • The graphic is not so good. There are barely two graphics though.
  • Difficult to play for people who are not familiar with RPG games. But the concept was very interactive.
